This book is a companion to Gone Skiing, aimed at adults who are interested in learning the history of para-adaptive snow sports in the province. It is an extensive and thoroughly researched book with over 60 people interviewed, including the athletes, coaches, support team, and volunteers. It highlights the history and beginning of SASKI-PASS (Saskatchewan Ski Association Para Adaptive Snow Sports) and the vital and tireless individuals who had a passion and drive to help individuals with diverse needs participate in snow sports. The book includes the unique and little-known history of the creation and adaptation, by local individuals, of the equipment such as the sit-ski, needed by many of the athletes. This is a fascinating book and a must read!
