Her newest books are Gina’s Wheels, Mistasinîy: Buffalo Rubbing Stone and Skye Bird and the Eagle Feather, which she feels are Calls to Action toward the Reconciliation of all Saskatchewanians and Canadians. Mary loves being physically active and enjoys biking, roller blading, skiing and kayaking. She also enjoys talking to people of all ages about writing – their writing and her own.

Currently, Mary is teaching a Master's course at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. It is the Canadian Children's Literature Course and it is her favourite class to teach! What an honour to be able to explore, discover and share her love of Canadian kids and YA books with those in her class. There are so many wonderful Canadian books out there! Mary also reads and reviews books for CM: Canadian Review of Materials. https://www.cmreviews.ca. You can check out Mary's book reviews, or look for a good book to read on their website.
